If you’ve missed the classic date night of going to the movies, the wait is over. AMC just announced many AMC theatres will reopen on or near August 20 with new cleaning and safety precautions.

Its not surprising that masks will be required during the show, but you are allowed to take them off to enjoy your buttery popcorn and drinks. In addition to masks, social distancing will be enforced.

They have also upgraded their filters and vacuums, added hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipe dispensers, and reduced auditorium capacities.
