A new Dick’s Sporting Goods will open at Broadway Square Mall in Tyler in the first quarter of 2020. The announcement was made by Simon, a global leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations.

The first-in-market store will be 45,000 square feet and located on the footprint of the former Sears store, which is currently in the demolition process.

Dick’s Sporting Goods, is the largest U.S.-based full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer. You can visit the Dick’s Sporting Goods website to browse through their departments and merchandise.

History of Dick’s Sporting Goods:

This announcement follows the opening earlier this year of “Play at Broadway Square,” an approximately 1,000 square-foot play area that has an open floor plan, creating an interactive environment for both children and parents alike.

Right now, the only Dick’s Sporting Goods location in East Texas is in Longview inside the Longview Mall on McCann Road.

The new Dick’s Sporting Goods in Tyler will be located at 4701 South Broadway Avenue.
