Grab your sunscreen, put on your shades, and get ready to make a splash with your furry friend, because Pawchella is back! This doggie pool party is an evening filled with wagging tails, barking laughs, and some pawsome memories for you and your pup. Mark your calendars for August 19th from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at the Fun Forest Pool in Tyler.

This pawty is absolutely free and will include a canine best dressed competition to show off that sleek new swimwear with a prize and more available!

There are some rules to go over before your pup hits the water:

  1. Dogs Only: Sorry, humans, this is a strictly canine event. Let your furry pals have all the fun in the pool!
  2. Agree to Agree: All guests must complete an attendee agreement and waiver before entering the pawty zone. Safety first!
  3. Vaccination Required: Just like getting your ticket to a concert, all dogs must have proof of rabies vaccination in the form of a tag or certificate. No ticket, no entry!
  4. Safety First: For the safety of all attendees, no dogs under the age of six months or female dogs in heat are allowed.
  5. No Grumpy Paws: Friendly dogs only, please! Every wagging tail should enjoy the event without any aggressive behavior. City of Tyler Parks and Recreation has the right to remove any dog or owner.
  6. No Poolside Sliding: Dogs might be adventurous, but slides are off-limits. Let’s keep it to splashing and paddling in the pool.
  7. Life Jackets Welcome: If your pup is still mastering the doggy paddle, life jackets are allowed.
  8. Leash Up: Dogs must be on leashes when entering or leaving the facility.
  9. Puppy Supervision: If you’re bringing along your little humans (under 12), make sure they are closely supervised by an adult.
  10. Clean Up Crew: Let’s keep the pawty grounds pristine by disposing of all trash and animal waste properly. Trash containers and waste bags will be provided.
