Live at the 2023 Rose City Airfest: Girl Named Tom
With each passing year, the Rose City Airfest experience grows with new opportunities to enjoy an afternoon & evening of high flying community fun! The 2023 Airfest is no different, and will be bringing in a live concert with the 2021 “The Voice” winners, A Girl Named Tom.
“Veterans often get left to the margins feeling ignored or abandoned. It’s a real honor for us to be a part of this effort to bring care for the physical, mental, spiritual health of these individuals in East Texas,” said Caleb Liechty.
The band began in 2019, made up of siblings Bekah Grace, Joshua, and Caleb Liechty. At the beginning of their music career, they made YouTube videos while writing songs and creating their first album “Hits From The Road.” In 2021, A Girl Named Tom became the first trio to win “The Voice” and pushed the band onto a national tour in 2022 and to their next album “One More Christmas.”
“We’ve actually been to East Texas before. Just last year, we were in Longview, and we are always so welcomed in Texas. We feel the hospitality and each opportunity to return is a treat for us, and we’re so excited to see everyone there,” said Bekah Grace. “We’re writing new songs all the time, so each show is a little different for us and we hope everybody likes what they hear about the new original music.”
You can see A Girl Named Tom during the 3rd Annual Rose City Airfest with the concert kicking off at 5:00 PM and running into 6:00 PM, when the airshow itself will begin. You can get your tickets early by purchasing them online here!
