After last year’s success, the Texas Shakespeare Festival at Kilgore College is pleased to announce the return of a unique holiday production, ‘Mirth & Merriment’.

Performances will take place in Van Cliburn Auditorium on the Kilgore campus 7:30 PM Friday, Dec. 9; 2:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 10; and 2:00 PM Sunday, Dec. 11.

Featuring readings from classic authors and poets, ‘Mirth & Merriment’ is a nostalgic holiday treat starring TSF alums sharing Christmas tales, songs and poems in an unforgettable and entertaining evening fit for the whole family.

The 2022 version will feature all new stories, poems and songs, providing a new experience even for those who have seen the 2021 production.

The ensemble will feature KC theatre instructor Micah Goodding; White Oak High School theatre instructor Rick Higginbotham; as well as TSF alums Travis Ascione, Laura Brennan, Jo Garcia-Reger and Nathan Noel. Also working on the production are KC students Chesney Jones and Dalton Huwe.

The production has been adapted by TSF Artistic Director Meaghan Simpson and will be directed by TSF Associate Artistic Director Matthew Simpson.
