Save on Amtrak by traveling with friends and family

TEXARKANA, Ark. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - Maybe it’s time for you and your friends to take that well deserved road trip or maybe your family needs a quick and inexpensive vacation. Amtrak recently announced a great deal that could save a group of travelers up to 60% off their reservation! Called Amtrak Share Fares, this special starts with a party of three making a reservation with a 17% discount on all tickets. Here’s how they break down the discount.

You can either reserve the trip on the Amtrak app using code V291 or on their Amtrak Share Fares webpage.

For example, a party of eight can travel roundtrip from Texarkana to St. Louis for $249.60. Based on a trip from Wednesday, October 19, 2022 through Monday, October 24, 2022 on a search conducted on September 1, 2022.
