Shan Bailey

Shan Bailey is the digital content producer and on-air personality for FOX 8 Nola Weekend. Shan is a creative storyteller who is passionate about creating compelling content that connects with audiences.

In one of her greatest accomplishments at FOX 8, Shan pioneered the launch of Nola Weekend -- a digital destination focusing on local lifestyle, entertainment, food and event-driven content. On the front lines of this new digital initiative, Shan taps into her love for storytelling both behind-the-scenes and on-camera, while pushing the boundaries of content creation across several platforms.

In 2014, Shan joined the FOX 8 team as a Marketing Producer. In this position, she developed engaging and effective promos to capture viewers. She also honed her skills in writing, production, shooting and editing.

Growing up on the Westbank in Jefferson Parish, Shan is a graduate of Archbishop Blenk High School. She also received a B.A. in Mass Communication from LSU's Manship School of Mass Communication. During her time at LSU, Shan sharpened her reporting and media skills as an Entertainment Writer at The Daily Reveille, the University’s student-run newspaper, and as a Marketing Intern at the LSU Office of Student Media.

In her free time, Shan loves exploring new hot spots around town, diving into good food and discovering new music.
