Blaine Davis, Head Baker of Sola Bread Co, described to us their weekly production. Each Saturday morning their entire lineup is on display and you can come pick out from a huge selection of sourdough breads and flaky croissant options. From morning buns to pesto parmesan pinwheels, you are bound to find a pastry to satisfy your heart and stomach.

All the breads that Sola bakes, from their honey wheat to their multigrain, come from their homemade sourdough starter. Once baked to perfection, their breads showcase a crispy outer layer with a warm spongey interior.

BRICK OVEN PIZZA

Sola Bread Co.’s other defining feature is their fresh afternoon prepared pizza. As you walk up to the counter to order, you will notice the large brick oven in the center of the workspace, with the inscription, “Sola Deo Gloria”; hence where Sola gets their name. This translates to “glory to God alone.” Within this massive oven is a roaring flame, that gets up to 900 degrees!

These Neapolitan-styled pizzas are made to order and come with all sorts of toppings. Go with their classic pepperoni and margarita. Or stay up to date on their Facebook to see what new choices they have on deck.

The pizzas are light, so you won’t feel super bloated after enjoying a good number of slices. Making it a perfect pair with some of True Vine Brewing Company’s excellent craft beer options. The brewery and bakery are actually in the same room so you can enjoy both of them fresh!
