The school year is almost upon us here in East Texas and we know your kids are just so excited about that. (Well, maybe you are at least.)

If you are looking for a fun way to celebrate the occasion or maybe need to receive some help in preparing for the school year, we have put together a full list of Back-to-School Bashes happening near you!

THURSDAY, 8/8

Austin Bank Tyler Med Center - Back to School Celebration

When: 11am-2pm
Where: 611 S Beckham Ave, Tyler

Join us for a Customer Appreciation Event and Back-to-School celebration at our Tyler Med Center location! School supply bags will be given away to the first 50 children in attendance. (Child must be present to receive a bag.) There will be cookies and popsicles for all attendees.

Back to School at The Picket Fence

Back to school is such a fun time of year! Stop on into The Picket Fence on Friday, August 9th and Saturday, August 10th from 10-6 and enjoy some sips, snacks, and sales! We’ll have a great selection of back to school gifts for those special teachers on your list.

24th Annual Back to School Giveaway & Health Fair

Where: New Beginning Faith Ministry, Longview

You can come & register for Backpacks with supplies (for schools that aren’t supplying). YOU MUST BRING YOUR KIDS IN ORDER TO SIGN UP. We will also have Vendors such as Special Health with HIV Testing, Wellness Pointe, Life Insurance Professionals, Nurses, and so many more. We will have Free Haircuts for boys, Free Food & Drinks, Bouncy House. There will also be a HUUGGEE PARKING LOT GIVEAWAY with shoes, clothes, toys, home decor, appliances, furniture && everything is free!

KIDZBIZNIZ “Back to School” EXPO

KIDZ BIZNIZ EXPO is an annual event for young entrepreneurs. From baked goods, crafts and services, this is a chance to highlight youth business or service with a vendor space. Free Admission!

Women’s Worship + Prayer Night - Back to School Event

School is starting back and we want to invite you to join us in a night of prayer and worship! We will be praying over our kids, their friends, their teachers, the school administrators, and more. We want this year to be a GREAT year for our kids and what better way than to start surrounded by women in prayer?! This event is open to moms, grandmas, aunts, teachers, staff and teenage students. Bring a friend or come alone. We will have worship music playing and will be breaking out in prayer at different times throughout the night. Light snacks will be available!

We have reserved the pool for two hours to allow our families a time to relax and enjoy the last few days of summer before our fall semester begins! We will be providing snacks and drinks, and the Bunker will be open to order any food.

FREE HAIRCUTS: Thanks to some of our generous local business owners, kids and students will be able to get a fresh back to school haircut! FREE LUNCH: Enjoy a delicious meal on us as we celebrate the start of the school year together. PRAYER FOR LINDALE ISD: Come together as a community to pray for our students, teachers, and staff as they embark on a new school year. Back to School Bash for students Junior HIgh, High school and College Students! This is a FREE event to offer some special services geared towards our students! We will be offering Stretchology Sessions, PEMF Treatments, and doing our Insight Spinal Scans! We’re getting back in the swing of school things and we want to get our students in the best possible shape to set the tone for a great school year! **Please bring a student ID and have a parent present for students under 17 years old.**

Back to School Serendipity Dinner & Game Night

Join us for a hot dog dinner and game night as we kick off going back to school. Popcorn will also be provided and sign up for appetizers, sides or desserts is available through Realm or in the Hall.
