The Piney Woods Wine Festival is BACK! Friday, May 10th and Saturday, May 11th at the Picker’s Pavilion in Downtown Lindale. The celebration kicks off from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday and 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday. There will be live music, tons of food and vendors, and, of course, lots of wine!
All of the wineries represented at the festival are from across East Texas and are a part of the Piney Woods Wine Trail.
The festival is free to attend, but you’ll need a wristband if you want to enter the Wine Garden. The wristband is $15 (which you can purchase here) and also comes with your very own wine tasting glass and a wine tote that you can take home. (While supplies last).
VIP wristbands are also available for a greater wine experience! Those run for $25 and allow you access for the entire weekend, unlike the general admission ones. VIPs can enter the Wine Garden 30 minutes earlier than the general public on both days too! Click here to learn more about the VIP perks.
Wine tastings are not included in the entry fee, but each tasting is only $1. You can also purchase a glass of wine from any of the participating wineries for $5 to $8 per glass, and full bottles of wine will be available for sale, as well. What an awesome way to support your favorite local wineries!
Lindale will be a hotspot for East Texas wine lovers this Spring! What’s twice as nice is that this Fall the Piney Woods Wine Festival will be back for Round 2! We will keep you posted on when that gears up.
