New Family Ride and a Returning Favorite at Six Flags Over Texas

Spring is finally here and it’s time to start making your Six Flags Over Texas plans!

With the opening of their 2024 season, Six Flags is introducing some great new additions to Bugs Bunny Boomtown that you and the kiddos will love! Take a ride on the new Sylvester and Tweety Pounce and Bounce! This 41ft drop tower lifts you in the air before beginning a series of up and down bounces. It’s just the right amount of thrill and fun that your whole family can enjoy. The beloved Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters is making a return too! If you never got the chance to ride it, now’s your chance. While spinning on this wild ride grab the water blasters on its bucket-shaped guest compartments so riders you can spray each other while the ride is in motion. It’s an absolute BLAST!

Along with these fun new additions, Six Flags is also revamping their second-oldest attraction, the Chaparral Antique Cars and turning it into the Dino Off Road Adventure! This new looking ride includes freshly designed cars, a redecorated queue area, and 13 dinosaur animatronics along the ride’s route. We’ll help you be on the look-out for the opening date for this ride later this summer!

When asked about the upcoming improvements to the park, Richard Douaihy, Park President, shared, “For 63 years, generations of guests have come to the park to have fun and experience thrills with their families. We’re so pleased that these new attractions will offer our guests the opportunity to make even more memories with the people who matter most.”
