Who doesn’t love a fall fair?! Whether it’s the food, the lights, the rides, it brings back a feeling of nostalgia for many and creates new memories for the young ones. In East Texas, we have no shortage of fun county and state fairs. Check out what’s coming soon near you!

Gregg County Fair

September 8th-16th

Started in 1949, the fair has become a staple of the community with their Miss Gregg County Pageant, petting zoos, live music, rides and pig races.

The Gregg Country Fairgrounds are located at 1123 Jaycee Drive in Longview.

Rains County Fair

September 12th-16th

Celebrating 93 years, you can enjoy stock shows, live music, a carnival, creative arts contests, inside and outside vendors, and more!

The fair is located at the Rains County Fairgrounds at Hwy. 69 & Hwy. 19 in Emory.

Texas State Forest Festival

September 14th-17th

An East Texas tradition, the Texas State Forest Festival, brings excitement such as thrill shows,, axe throwing, car shows, and the carnival fun you know and love.

The festival is located at the George H. Henderson Exposition Center in Lufkin.

Red River County Fair

September 20th-23rd

This free county fair features a parade as well as rides, food, livestock auction, and more. The parade rolls through Clarksville on the 17th at 5:30pm.

This event is located at Farm Road 1159 & Fairground Rd. in Clarksville.

East Texas State Fair

September 22nd-October 1st

You can enjoy many new and wild events including a Flying Jetpack Water Circus, a Sea Lion Splash, a Butterfly Encounter, live music, and more than enough fair food to keep you satiated until next year.

The East Texas State Fair takes place at 2112 W. Front St. in Tyler.

Titus County Fair

September 27th-September 30th

Follow what’s going on at the Titus County Fair including a livestock show, commercial exhibits, youth academic contests, live music, and more.

This event takes place at the Titus County Civic Center.

The State Fair of Texas

September 29th-October 22nd

Enjoy 24 days of fun as the State Fair of Texas adds even more free attractions! Home of Big Tex and chock full of so many events, attractions, and live shows for us to list them all here, truly the biggest state fair and the perfect way to celebrate Texas!

The State Fair of Texas is located at 925 S. Haskell in Dallas.

Pineywoods Fair

October 11th-15th

This event takes place at the Nacogdoches County Exposition & Civic Center.
