Back again for their 38th year, the 2023 Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce Countryfest is bringing exciting FREE family fun back to East Texas!

What makes Countryfest so exhilarating comes from all of the organizations that come together to bring free entertainment for the whole family. This celebration of fun goes from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 14th, at Picker’s Pavilion in Lindale.

“For ten years, we’ve had a partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, the city of Lindale, the Cannery, the Lilly Russell Memorial Library, the Lindale Fire Department, and Kaleidoscope, where all of this property downtown that’s owned by those entities comes together to bring Countryfest,” said Shelbie Glover, President & CEO of the Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce. “And it has become the largest single day event in Lindale, and it is a place you don’t want to miss on October 14th.”

Over the last few years, visitors to this event have only grown, and this year the goal has raised to 10,000 people to come out and enjoy all that Countryfest has to offer. The day starts with the Harvest Hustle 5K (and Kids 1K race), shortly after the car show kicks off with classic cars, trucks, Jeeps, and bikes to check out, and of course there will be all the carnival games, bounce houses, petting zoo, and more available for free!

There will also be food trucks for when you need another burst of energy, and a live & silent auction inside Picker’s Pavilion to explore.

But wait, there’s an added bonus this year! Countryfest falls on the same day as the partial solar eclipse passing through East Texas! Make sure to bring a pair of eclipse glasses and enjoy this solar event.

“It’s bigger and better every year. We have a wonderful time,” said Countryfest Chairman Jamie Cowart. “There are so many things to do, so many people to see, so many vendors to look at. It’s just a great place to come and get your corny dog, get your cotton candy, whatever you want, and have a good time.”

Countryfest has only grown and continues to bring families together each year, it’s definitely an event to load the car up and enjoy the best of East Texas.
