The Deep East Texas Resource Center in Lufkin is hosting its annual “Back to School Expo” on Monday, July 31st, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Organized in collaboration with the East Texas Food Bank, the event will be filled with excitement and valuable resources for children and families preparing for the school year.

The family-friendly event is free to attend and there will be activities to enjoy, door prizes to win, and of course backpacks and school supplies that are much needed. Backpacks and supplies will be available for as long as they last.

This event will take place at the Deep East Texas Resource Center and is sponsored by AmeriHealth Caritas, Southside Bank, and the East Texas Food Bank.
