A blues legend is coming to Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - Fans of the Blues are going to be happy when the legendary Buddy Guy stops in Shreveport during his Damn Right Farewell Tour. He will be live in concert at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. Pre-sale tickets (Pre-Sale Code BG23) are going on until 10 p.m. on June 21. General ticket sales start on June 23 at 10 a.m.

Originally from Pointe Coupee Parish in Louisiana, Guy started his music career while at LSU. He later moved to Chicago where he grew to become a pioneer of the blues scene in the Windy City. He’s been a part of dozens of albums. Some on his own while others are collaborations. He’s won Grammys, been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and awarded the National Medal of Arts.

Don’t miss this Louisiana native’s only appearance in Texas and Louisiana in 2023. He’ll also perform on November 3 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
